Sundanese culture is located in the western part of Java, Indonesia. Sunda is a group of people who uphold high culture, but not now. Cultural attack began to take over and undermine  sunda, from music, clothing, and language.

Paguyuban Ki Sunda 

Music, more of the younger generation who can play western music instrument rather than his own. They feel cool with western music instruments. And  only a few people who want to see or visiting the Sundanese performing arts. But on the contrary they flock to see or visiting western and Korean music concert.

Pangsi,  Sundanese Traditional Clothes

Clothes, lots of young people  don’t want to wear Sunanese Traditional attire, they only have eyes for  west and the other popular country.  They assume that people who use Sundanese attire is the countrified.

Sunda is Refusing the local language killing in 2013 curriculum

Language, the younger generation who speak Sunda is diminishing as its many new language they created , The language they called “Alay”,or “gaul”, etc. though it still remains many people can speak Sundanese, only a few of them are able to write native Sundanese language (Sanskrit).

It was not banned to like music, clothes, and other  languages​​, but please love your own culture. Sundanese culture is being collapsed, even if it collapses it can still be rebuilt. but starting something from scratch is not easy. Sundanese people saying “manuk hiber ku jangjangna, Sunda hirup ku barudakna” meaning bird flies by its wings, Sunda alive by the younger generation. Love your country, love your culture.
